Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
Because Grip operates as a marketplace connecting Creators with independent Sidekicks (videographers and crew), all bookings and payments are final.
1. No Refunds
Once a booking is confirmed and the payment is captured, Grip does not issue refunds under any circumstances. We act strictly as a technology platform to facilitate the connection and process the payment on behalf of the Sidekick.
2. Quality of Work and Disputes
Sidekicks are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Grip. We do not guarantee the quality, punctuality, or exact deliverables of the services provided. If you are unsatisfied with the work provided, or if a Sidekick fails to show up, you must resolve the dispute directly with the Sidekick. Grip is not responsible for mediating disputes, issuing partial refunds, or enforcing deliverables.
3. Cancellations
If a Creator wishes to cancel a confirmed gig, they forfeit the payment amount as compensation to the Sidekick for reserving their time. If a Sidekick cancels a gig before it occurs, the Creator and Sidekick must coordinate an alternate arrangement or resolve the transaction directly.
4. Platform Fees
Any service or marketplace fees charged by Grip during the booking process are strictly non-refundable.
